2009 Toyota Venza V6

FOR MORE ABOUT THE VENZA: www.edmunds.com As soon as you see the 2009 Toyota Venza V6, you know what it is. So how come there are all these questions about whether it’s a crossover, a minivan in disguise, a tall wagon or a soft-riding SUV? Really, get over it. Toyota brought it to us, not aliens from another planet. Mark Cooledge knows what it is. The 34-year-old insurance network manager from Texas is finding life a little tight in his Toyota Camry with his wife and two small children. He isn’t convinced his family needs a minivan, but he wants more space, more practicality. And maybe the Venza is it. Cooledge is just the buyer Toyota was counting on when it designed the 2009 Toyota Venza, so we let him take the wheel with us so we could get past the labels and figure out what it does best.

Respond to this video… Venza – A GIANT, UGLY CAMRY STATION WAGON FOR THE GERIATRIC SET WITH FAILING SENSES AND STRONG BELIEF IN AUTOMOTIVE FAIRY TALES! HOW COME ONLY OLD PEOPLE BUY TOYOTA’S NOW? ANSWER: BECAUSE A MUCH LARGER PERCENTAGE OF YOUNGER PEOPLE CAN USE A COMPUTER AND MAKE BUYING DECISIONS BASED ON ANALYSIS AND CRITICAL THINKING AS OPPOSED TO OLD MYTHS AND BELIEFS

@rathmullan2 Then you fucking woke up!….and toyota is the most recalled brand since 06….your a deluded moron to make such a statement. There IS no fun to be had driving a Toyota – PERIOD!….Unless your obviously an ignorant blindfolded to the world around them over 60 yrs. old type who had a POS GM fwd a body in the 80′s and swore off domestics forever!

@toyotas2006 HAHAHAH nice assumption u fuckin tool lmao def DONT live w my mom, dont be but hurt cuz the toyota name will NEVER be what it was, why u ask? cuz they sell cars that they dont give a fuck if ppl die behind the wheel. all due to there LACK of safety inspections. really? is that why ford is out selling the shit out of toyota on all aspects? go learn something and retire your “know it all” youtube aquired degree you ass clown lmao.

toyotas2006 says in September 1st 2011 at 1:54 am

@kphillips012 At least I’m not in my mother’s basement, acting like I’m looking for a job. Stop piddling your pud, and get your name off the orange juice, tooltime
Ford is doing some things
But Toyota can buy and sell Ford anytime they want.

kphillips012 says in September 1st 2011 at 1:56 am

Looks like an Urban Outback.
How is it in snow and/or mud? I could not find many vids of that AWD in use, like I can with the Outback.

I love the Venza!!

chevroletfan17 says in September 1st 2011 at 4:19 am

@BigTMoney121 The Escalade is in a totally different class then the Venza so it wouldn’t be right to compare them.

guinmaan says in September 1st 2011 at 5:16 am

long live the recall king toyota.

funny I notice only old fools who believe in mythical tales of quality buy toyotas. The younger people are going back to domestics

BigTMoney121 says in September 1st 2011 at 6:13 am

Toyota has very good looking cars. They always have. I would prefer a Toyota than a Cadillac. Two reason : Price and looks. Compare the Venza to the Escalade, then reply to my comment

I just realized that this was filmed in Long Beach, CA when I saw the Queen Mary on 2:28. Other landmarks from Long Beach were noticeable when replayed a few more times.

Huh. Funny.

bigmama45405 says in September 1st 2011 at 7:16 am

@toyotas2006 that’s why they are FORD: FixOrRepairDaily LOL I love my G8T Toy! Avalon’s the standard for luxury or you can pay extra for the Lex name . . .

here2Bunknown says in September 1st 2011 at 8:15 am

Wow, quite a lot of criticism about the utility of this. I have a truck and a sports car and do a fair amount of skiing/biking/kitesurfing. Typical sedans are hard to load gear into, and trucks and SUV’s drive like crap (in my opinion). This is a comfortable and practical vehicle with some style. If you can’t see the utility of this thing, then it probably means that you just like to ride high, pay for gas, and that’s fine! This will probably replace my truck as Toyota #6.

Watch this trend. iphone+laptop = ipad. sedan+SUV = venza/CUV/crosstour/grantouring(5series). People trying to get the best of both worlds. Does it work? Well, look at critics on ipad or these…. i don’t know… waste of production?
