Question by Matthew Atack: What is the factory float height setting for a 1988 Honda VT1100? I purchased a 1988 Honda Shadow VT1100. The previous owner rebuilt the carbs (replaced EVERYTHING) but the bike was running really poorly and the plugs indicate a very very rich fuel mixture. I need to know the factory float height setting for this bike. I adjusted them a little by eye but now I’m running to lean. Does anyone have a clymers manual on this bike?
