This is a very, very cheap item. It is poorly made. I received the wrong product initially and it was defective. It was replaced with the identical brand (PowerTech), when in fact the vendor advertised GTMAX brand. The replacement works but it hisses loudly and is of poor quality. Didn’t cost much however it should perform as advertised. By the way PowerTech is the name of a Chinese manufacturer that various dollar stores import novelty items from. Nevertheless, I am not satisfied with the product. I will spend a little more and get a brand name cassette adapter. Beware this is NOT a GTMAX adapter nor is it compatible with Sony brand products.
