As a 19 year old I love these big “old people” cars

But $30,000 new?? These things sure have gone down in value you can find them all the time on craigslist for only like $2500

@RenwoodMyth Final Year of the Park Ave is 2005….but i agree…get the car from an older driver…they take care of their cars and dont abuse them so you’ll get one in GOOD condition!

88soulsurvivor says in October 31st 2011 at 5:44 pm

BTW I’m 23yr old.

My mom has a SC Park ave and that thing flies. Low cost to maintain this car too. Suspension is not quite as good as the Crown vics Iv’e test drove but not too harsh. overall 5/5 for me.

Just bough a 1996 ultra supercharged sitting in a field covered in dirt with 72k for $500… took it through mike’s and a new car came out.. I shit bricks

John Davis says the design is “evolutionary.” I always thought it was revolutionary. Yeah, there’s no mistaking it for anything other than a Buick, but it was quite a departure from the previous generation, as far as I’m concerned.

i miss my dad’s old 1982 Park avenue that was one comfy car

Tappedurassout says in October 31st 2011 at 8:35 pm

These cars are suprercharged and completely haul ass. My grandmother’s 96′ only has 45, 000 miles on it and it absolutely screams. I am trying to buy it from her lol.

RenwoodMyth says in October 31st 2011 at 8:44 pm

I owned a 1996 park ave ULTRA and a 2000 Park ave ULTRA and BOTH cars were AWESOME! They are old people’s cars because BACK IN THE DAY, car were about style, POWER and realiability! EVREYBODY wants to buy a used car from a old person, because they took great car of their cars. If you got the cash get the Park ave style from 1997 to i belive 2003 (is that the final year of the Park AVE?) if you got less cash get the 1991-1996! Cant go wrong! since they are both great cars! BTW i am 32 Y/O

Applerocks35 says in October 31st 2011 at 9:09 pm

@taxiguy57 my mom is 39 and used to own a 92′ park avenue but currently owns a ’00 lesabre limited. a while back someone she worked with asked her what car she owned and she said Buick park avenue and she said a Buick? thats an old ladies car! and mom said yeah but its AWESOME!

VinylToVideo says in October 31st 2011 at 9:45 pm

By then they were using aluminum in the 3800 engine which cut its life at least in half. I’d take the ’91 or ’92 over this.

MrAlexprm says in October 31st 2011 at 9:50 pm

I HAVE EXACTLY THE SAME CAR AND RHE SAME RED COLOR 186.K MILES AND STILL GOING STRONG

gmman010983 says in October 31st 2011 at 10:24 pm

rockerdude29 says in October 31st 2011 at 11:28 pm

@JohnFromSpace yessir,without a doubt.And i have a trans am with an LT1 haha.

WoodstaS says in October 31st 2011 at 11:39 pm

@batmanlooksgood Indeed. I get around 30 mpg at 70 mph, and about 28 at 80 mph. At 60 mph (i.e. when my dad drives it,) it gets up to 35 mpg.

koioo2 says in October 31st 2011 at 11:51 pm

@batmanlooksgood i ask to you same qwestion wy is the regal 2010 a opel insgnia ? lucerne is nice to much european and la cross i like this i see a buick

batmanlooksgood says in November 1st 2011 at 12:18 am

I have a 2000 buick PA. its NOT an ultra, but i am content with the road handling, and the 25mpg, and 205horses.

batmanlooksgood says in November 1st 2011 at 12:39 am

@dnur567 I saw the Lucerne at the car show. its NICE, but doesnt have the nice lines of the PA. The lacrosse i didnt like. Lesabre has always been plane jane to me.

menuvision says in November 1st 2011 at 1:14 am

My best friend has one these and he told me it rides nice and handles pretty good.

watso64 says in November 1st 2011 at 1:16 am

@mrniceguy4200 yeah I’ll probably buy one of these soon myself, cheaper to buy and own then a Cadillac, has decent power, good MPG, reliable and comfortable. what more could you want.

mrniceguy4200 says in November 1st 2011 at 1:22 am

i just bought a 97 ultra with 94k on it and boy drives better then a cadillac and have the rare buckets and console but no moonroof and the grand touring suspension one of the nicest cars ive owned and im a car dealer who has everything from mercedes to acuras what an unappreciated vehicle

canibusnj says in November 1st 2011 at 1:52 am
