Easy to use, well built product,
The first thing that I noticed after opening the box was the weight of this product. It appears to be very well built. The case is made of metal, the product is touted as “weather proof”, the mounting bracket works very well and loading MP3s was a breeze. The product is very stylish, looks great, blends in with the bike and seems to have no issue with the pounding from Wisconsin’s country roads.
The only issue that I have found so far is the volume level. I am a road biker and when moving at higher speeds (especially if it is also windy), the music can be a little tough to hear….even the highest volume setting. Don’t get me wrong, it is still audible, but I would like to see the volume go just a bit higher. I’m sure that the issue is distortion. At the highest volume level, the distortion is still acceptable, however raising the volume even higher would likely degrade the quality to an unacceptable level.
I would highly reccommend this product.
