What is the best car/car setup for Drifting events in Need for Speed Carbon?

I own this game for the 360 as a side note….For some reason i am pretty good at the drifting when u go down the canyon but all the drifting courses I am pretty horrible…i cant find the sweet spot in any car i try. I have the viper, z06, boss’ db9, old camaro ss, boss’ old challenger, the boss’ rx-7 and i think thats it in my garage. I already beat the game but these 2 or 3 races are still on my map and making me frustrated. Preferably I would not like to purchase another car to do these but if i must i will. Thank you for your help

All cars is good for drifting as long you can handle, also speed is also crucial. i prefers muscle, Corvette. the basic rundown on drifting is speed, drifts. keep speed meter to blue, gently turn your car to direction, but don’t overdo it. if you can’t, give it a try first, how difficult is the track, everyone can’t just win on the first go. remember that.

Get a viper and tune it for power. Then Just keep your finger on the gas and dont let off til you win. Basically for the courses you want a car that handles crappy b/c they lose traction better and when you add in the rear wheel power of the viper you can just slide all the way around the track almost sideways….by the way I hope you rented the game b/c it is garbage…I beat it in 2 days…and the bs part is you cant even earn more money after you beat it so you cant purchase all the cars you unlock in the last 6-7 races in the game.

Tuners or exotics are great for the canyon drifts. My technique for the canyons involves using oversteer and not accelerating through the corners. If you accelerate through the corners your car will be pulled towards the edge, so if you do want to accelerate through the corner get really close to the apex. I always let go of the gas and use oversteer until im out of the corner. then i punch it and use the nitro to help even out the car. hope this helps
